Poly Aluminum Chloride (PAC) is a substance in the form of a powder that is safe and easily soluble in water, which is used in the water purification process. In water treatment, the purpose of the coagulation process is to separate contaminants such as solid impurities which are difficult to separate by the Filtration process. The coagulation process causes colloids and suspended particles to gather and then form heavier particles (flocs) which can easily be separated by settling or filtering.
