Hydrant pump is a major component in a hydrant system. Without this pump, the system will not work. The main function of Pump Hydrant is to pump water from a reservoir (water source) to all available network installations. The pump capacity is adjusted to the size and height of the protected building, the number of hydrant or sprinkler points, and the type or layout of the building. The current is the volume of water supplied through the pipeline installation by means of the mechanical forces of the fire pump. Measured in gallons per minute (gpm), flow is the definitive factor in whether the fire will be controlled or not. The recommended minimum flow for operation in a burning building is 250 gpm-500 gpm or can be more than 1000 gpm depending on the height of the building and the capacity of the water reservoir.
