Course Aims :
Learning basic fire fighting techniques is very important, especially for individuals who are involved with source of fire. By knowing the right techniques of putting fire off, especially when it is just started and localized, you may safe the company from losing assets and losing lifes.
Participants will be able to recognize different conditions that may require different ways to fight fire.

Key Elements :
The ability of a worker to effectively extinguish a small fire can be the difference between a small incident and a major accident costing millions in damage and lost production time.
This course is designed for workers who are potentially exposed to a firefighting hazard. Students will learn the basic principles of fire fighting with handheld fire extinguishers. The classroom sessions cover basic fire theory, extinguisher capabilities and limitations, extinguisher operation, application techniques and recharge and basic maintenance of extinguishers. Exercises on the fire ground include using various handheld extinguishers to fight class A & B fires.
Activities:
Course will be delivered by A certified Fire Fighter, assisted by one associate. The course will include both classroom lecture and actual practice. During practical exercise participants will use different fire extinguishers to put off different class of fires.
