Dipropylene Glycol Methyl Ether -

DOWANOL DPM glycol ether is a specialty of slow medium evaporating solvents. This hydrophilic solvent has 100% water solubility and is ideal as a coupling agent in various solvent systems. DOWANOL DPM glycol ether has a higher flash point than DOWANOL PM glycol ether making it easier to handle, store and send. Often incorporated into the latex emulsion layer DOWANOL DPM glycol ether can be used to prevent shock (coagulation emulsion) when a hydrophobic solvent is used. More broadly, its hydrophilic properties make it an ideal coupling device in water-reducing layers, and cleaning applications. The evaporation rate of DOWANOL DPM glycol ether at an intermediate level allows it to be used in a potentially wider range of systems than other solvents. Application:
