Balancing Machine SpecificationsA balancing machine is a type of machine that is used to measure the level of unbalance in a rotating machine component. Rotating components that are often used can experience unbalance from their axis so that the rotation becomes unstable and constant. There are also two types of this machine, namely hard bearings and soft bearings. The difference lies not in the bearings but in the suspension.Hard-Bearing Balancing MachineThis type is capable of balancing the part under test at a lower frequency than the resonant frequency found in the suspension. Meanwhile, the soft-bearing type balancing machine is able to balance the object being tested with a higher frequency than the resonant frequency in the suspension. Both types of machines have their own advantages and disadvantages. Hard-bearing machines are generally more flexible and can handle many parts with varying weights, because these balancing machines can measure centrifugal effects and require only one calibration. Therefore, this machine is very suitable for low and middle capacity production machines, and also for repair shops.Soft Bearing Balancing MachineThis type of machine bearing is very tough to balance heavy rotors. Working on this machine for a single-rotor type really takes a lot of time because it has to calibrate every part of it. Therefore, this machine is very suitable for machines with a fairly high production capacity. Both hard and soft bearing machines can reduce weight automatically as in drilling or milling machines, but hard bearings are stronger and are used more often. Both of these machines can be integrated for production and lifting loads using a gantry or robotic arm, here the role of humans is very little. How the Balancing Machine WorksThe way the dynamic balancing machine works is very simple, the rotor machine that you want to do balance testing can be lifted and paired using a forklift on the stand provided. Then attach the rubber belt to the machine. the function of the rubber belt will be useful to determine the rotation of the engine rotor to be tested. If the belt rotates constantly then the engine has been balanced, but if the belt rotates is not constant then the engine has experienced unbalance. All sensors in the balancing machine will be directly integrated with the TMR Balancer tool to read the RPM speed, rotation of the rotor machine on the right and left.
