How to Choose Projector Screens as Required
There are a number of points you can consider when choosing a suitable projector screen product, the three of them are considering the ratio, model, and screen size factors.
1. Screen Model
The first point, you can consider the projector screen model. There are four models of projector screens namely electric, manual, tapestry, and portable projector screens. Each has its own specifications and advantages.
- Electric: The screen can be rolled up and spread automatically using a remote control.
- Manual: As the name suggests, this one model is operated manually. The screen is rolled or stretched manually by pulling a rope.
- Tapestry: The screen is not rolled or stretched, but hung on a wall.
- Floor rising: The screen can stand without using a stand.
2. Screen Ratio
When choosing a projector screen, one that should be your consideration is the screen ratio. For home needs, choose a screen with a ratio of 16: 9 or standard type 4: 3. If you need a screen for your school, workplace, use a widescreen projector with a ratio of 16:10.
3. Visibility
In determining the screen that corresponds to the area of the room, there is a formula of visibility divided by three. For example, if the screen distance from a person's chair is 240 cm, an 80-inch type screen is the recommendation.
